Aroview: Crime drama directed by Tom McCarthy (THE VISITOR), with Matt Damon playing an unemployed oil-rig worker from Stillwater, Oklahoma who travels to France to help prove his daughter's innocence when she is accused of murdering an ex-lover.

Becoming involved with the legal proceedings leads him to reconnecting with his estranged daughter, as he works to uncover the truth in a culture that is entirely foreign to him.

A weighty, slow burn thriller more interested in character development than action, and offering a chance for Damon to get to the heart of a substantial role without resorting to stereotype.
