Aroview: First aired for television, this all access fly-on-the-wall account of the Beatles first trip through the USA in February 1964 is a pure dose of early 60's beat culture and an exemplar of a perfectly orchestrated marketing campaign.

The fab four are taxied from press confrence, to stage, to hotel room, the weild their irreverent banter as a possible coping strategy. The boys ride a fine line of equally lampooning and embracing the loud excess of the American media. Their enigmatic manager Brian Epstein is seen calmly dictating telegrams and phone calls to keep his circus on track.

The third film by the Maysles Brothers. This is also one of Aro Video's earliest examples of the "Direct Cinema" wave utilising smaller, more portable recording equipment to capture unfolding events in a candid stye never seen before.
