Red Rock West
Aroview: Throw a hapless hero, a femme fatale and a greedy bastard into a desert town seething with infidelity, guns, stolen loot, and set it to a bluesy score and you have this deft style-piece that salutes the golden age of detective films.

4 stars (Very Good) A man traveling through a Western town is caught in a web of circumstance and betrayal, the rich femme fatale, the corrupt policeman, the wounded military veteran, the homicidal psychopath. Great plot, keeps you guessing. ~GenXGirl
4 stars (Very Good) Subtly plays its rural-noir atmosphere and (frankly ludicrous) plot twists as dark farce - without diminishing the suspense. It's a tonal high-wire act that succeeds thanks to confident direction and spot-on performances. Very entertaining. ~fairbrother
