Groundhog Day
Aroview: Bill Murray is perfectly cast as a cranky TV weatherman who gets stranded in a tin-pot town, where he wakes every day in the same day, over and over again. Soon, his cold cynicism has melted away and he learns that it's a wonderful life...
Definitely a movie experience worth repeating, this is brilliant in concept, structure and execution, while unlikely starlet Andie MacDowell offers her genuine, beguiling charms to this and the same year's FOUR WEDDINGS AND A FUNERAL, both rom-coms in a league of their own.

3 stars (Good Enough) A cynical TV weatherman is sent to small-town Punxsutawney to cover the annual Groundhog Day festivities. Unable to leave, due to a giant blizzard, which he failed to predict, he falls into a time warp. A worthwhile romantic-comedy. ~GenXGirl
3 stars (Good Enough) If the plot is not original it hasn't been used too many times. ~Tubbs
