4 stars (Very Good) Cole, a prisoner in a post-apocalyptic future recruited to do some dangerous time-travel work in the past for a group of very odd scientists. But is Cole is really on the mission he thinks he is, or just a wacky mental patient. Best 90's sci-fi ever. ~GenXGirl

5 stars (Exceptional) Classic SF thriller; the themes and suspense are ingeniously developed from the time travel plot. Gilliam’s quirky style compliments the clever, slightly surreal, but tight script. Great performances perfect the tragic, compelling story. ~SteveParkes

4 stars (Very Good) Whilst not as good as "Brazil" (1985) (my main negative was that Willis is not anywhere near the same class as the talented Jonathan Pryce) the writing & its execution is still visionary & as with the earlier film will not suffer from another viewing. ~Tubbs

3 stars (Good Enough) You can guess why Willis was cast to undertake the action segments, but his limitations showed at other times. Some good aspects to the story and the overall production however. ~Tubbs
