I Shot Andy Warhol
Aroview: Both an absorbing time capsule of Warhol's 'factory' ultra-decadence and a gutsy portrait of extremism and delusion. Lili Taylor is a dynamo of angst as Valerie Solanas, the prostitute-turned-virulent-feminist who awkwardly ingratiated herself into Andy's clan. Her agonizing true story is charted with as much conviction and sensation as the title.

4 stars (Very Good) Valerie Solana, a gun-wielding feminist prostitute, and author of the SCUM manifesto, obsessed with being a part of Warhol's Factory scene and fame, shoots the artist out of frustration - making her manifesto infamous. A unique & feisty over-looked film. ~GenXGirl
