Dark City
Aroview: Advancing on earlier efforts like THE CROW, director Alex Proyas, fabricates a shadowy urban jungle, replete with echoes of earlier sci-fi dystopias like METROPOLIS and BLADE RUNNER.
While not of the classic calibre of these, the story of William Hurt and Rufus Sewell evading a mysterious, all-powerful race of Strangers, yields fast-paced comic-strip enjoyment.

3 stars (Good Enough) Underrated sci-fi suspense that has Rufus Sewell suffering from strange flashbacks and running from a mysterious group of seriously creepy alien beings, all within a surreal and fantastic ever-changing futuristic world. ~Tom H
3 stars (Good Enough) Director's cut an improvement on theatrical release. Interviews with the film makers explain the stuff ups by the money people, marketing, ratings board etc. with the original .Story still doesn't flow evenly but the art design/atmospherics impressive. ~Tubbs
