Reprising her character, now a recovering alcoholic, Jamie Lee Curtis carries out a full-fledged revenge fantasy against her maniac brother Michael The Unkillable One, loose once again... Alright, the story's a little thin, but the ominous mood and downplayed gore-factor add up to a good replication of the original.

3 stars (Good Enough) A decent reboot of the series, this puts Michael back on the map, with Jamie Lee back again to face her psycho brother. Still creepy, and commendable for going back to its roots. ~Tom H
3 stars (Good Enough) Not a great movie, but it compares well to the 2018 reboot which for some reason got raves despite just being a retread of this one. ~Pearce
