5 stars (Exceptional) Freddy Krueger is not only fantastically frightening, but he's also darkly funny. This Wes Craven is a masterpiece, and a close second-best horror film to my favourite: Carpenter's Halloween. ~Tom H
5 stars (Exceptional) classic, one of wes craven best films ~Wyatt Earp
3 stars (Good Enough) Probably influential for other horror filmmakers. ~Tubbs
