4 stars (Very Good) This is a true Michael Bay/ Bruckheimer Hollywood flick, with plenty going on at all times, but there are some genuine tear-jerking and enjoyable moments if you let yourself be drawn in and refuse to simply hate on it because of its reputation. ~Tom H

2 stars (Good Try) There is no urgency to the early scenes - which is commendable considering the risk to the Earth - time for romance - then the special effects (very good) take over.Acting talents of Buscemi,Thornton,Patton not required. ~Tubbs
