Ravenous
Aroview: Good taste is dispatched with relish in this period cannibal piece that promises gruesome chills from its 19th century Rocky Mountains setting, but instead delivers a meal of slapstick lip-licking and arm-knawing.
Ramrod straight soldier Guy Pearce is serving at a remote fort when wild-eyed Robert Carlyle stumbles in, telling tales of starvation, desperate ends and Indian curses, leading a taboo-respecting rescue party into belly of the beast. A diverting comic morsel.

3 stars (Good Enough) Strange even for a horror film but courageous as well. The material is fresh as well as the meat. ~Tubbs
3 stars (Good Enough) There will never, ever be a movie like this ever again, and that is a tragedy. ~gradientboon
