Next Stop, Wonderland

Aroview: Hope Davis (DAYTRIPPERS) utterly captivates as a jilted blonde indisposed to the dating scene, who finds little sign of Mr. Right in the long queue of on-comers. Finding an original voice in a stale genre, this low-budget Sundance-winner explores the paradox of being at once desirable and lonely, while as romantic comedy it's as cool and tantalising as the bossa nova grooves on the soundtrack.
