Magician, The

Aroview: An entertaining mockumentary follows the adventures of a Melbourne hitman (Ryan) as he goes about his chilling day-to-day business with cold-blooded efficiency, dry wit and moments of charm and humanity.

After being developed for several years by the writer-director-lead actor Ryan, this was reportedly filmed in ten days on a budget of AU$3000, and is an ample demonstration of how a good script will carry almost any level of production. Filled with memorable dialogue and sporting a genuinely original sense of humour.
