Dogma
Aroview: Eccentric meditation on Roman Catholicism in a modern-day context from writer/director Kevin Smith (CHASING AMY), that's just as bizarre as it sounds, with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck playing foul-mouthed angels-in-exile who attempt to get back into heaven through a spiritual loophole.
Despite a barmy plot, two decades on, this has now proven to be Smith's most thoughtful film

4 stars (Very Good) Kevin Smith's best acted and best plotted movie, with the exception of Chasing Amy. Can be very funny but also very crude. ~dr.strangelove
5 stars (Exceptional) Kevin Smith on top of his game. His most accomplished, best paced and catholic of thoughtful movies ~stve
3 stars (Good Enough) When you have one performer with recognised class - in this case, Alan Rickman - it is interesting to compare the rest of the performers against him. The screenplay is a bit hit and miss but interesting enough. ~Tubbs
