Aroview: A foolish National Guard unit encounter anything but Southern hospitality while on training manoeuvres in the Louisiana bayous. This allegory of the Vietnam experience was initially dismissed as a DELIVERANCE knock-off, but it's a superior gung-ho thriller in its own right, with a great macho cast of squabbling losers, lots of gory action and a top Ry Cooder bluegrass Cajun score.
