Road Trip
Aroview: How you take this sophomoric comedy depends on your appreciation of the bizarro hi-jinks of MTV 'personality' Tom Green, or just plain how old you are.
Plot is tellingly ridiculous - a Pamela-and-Tommy-style cam-cordering inadvertently finds itself mail bound to the central 'performer's innocent girlfriend, hence an 1800-mile 'road trip' is organised to intercept the incriminating tape. Allies gross-out, politically-incorrect humour to rampant teenage hormones, but the overall feeling is a hash job rushed through to cash-in on the success of the superior AMERICAN PIE. Ironically enough, from the director of scumrocker GG Allin biopic HATED.
