3 stars (Good Enough) Don Siegel was a great, economical director, but did show the odd rightwing flourish here and there throughout his career... This is one such film, with a totally one–dimensional antagonist, but is saved by its awesome set pieces. ~Hammerscope
4 stars (Very Good) Without decoding the politics, this is a stylish procedural that turns into a battle between archetypes. Robinson has a Kabuki-like face and is one of the great lip-actors. Striking visual compositions, judiciously employed score. ~HiFi
2 stars (Good Try) Some of the sequences are worth a watch 45 years on. The highlight for me is the City itself - the location "shooting". ~Tubbs
4 stars (Very Good) Classic ~Wyatt Earp
