Chocolat
Aroview: Light and fluffy ‘food-comedy’ of international mien in which, after a shaky start, Juliette Binoche gets into the heart of an crusty French village via its tastebuds.
Mayor Alfred Molina is unswayed though as her tasty treats sweeten the palates of townsfolk like Lena Olin and Judi Dench, but the chocolate really hits the fan when nomadic river-man Johnny Depp ties up at the wharf. Sticky, sweet and very bad for you...

3 stars (Good Enough) Arriving in a small French village, the free-spirited Vianne sets a chocolaterie which has a marked effect on the locals - for whom religion and politics dominate. And an Irish gypsy as the love interest. Whimsical, fairy-tale like - one for the dreamers. ~GenXGirl
