Purely Belter
Aroview: A pair of spotty Newcastle lads make a pact to stay out of trouble and devise legit money-making schemes to score themselves football season tickets. Both bleak and light weight, the social commentary gets straight-jacketed by the ‘underdog’ formula that the director used to better effect in BRASSED OFF and LITTLE VOICE. The title is apparently ‘scouse’ for ‘as good as it gets’.
