I'm Alan Partridge (TV Series)

Aroview: This is possibly British comedian Steve Coogan’s finest achievement to date, a spot-on portrait of a failed middle-aged TV host who, despite his vain, toxic personality somehow manages to win recognition, if not outright sympathy.

After his TV-show is canned, Alan is exiled to obscurity and purgatory in the Midlands, doing graveyard-shift talkback radio and living out of a room at a motor-inn, supported by his brow-beaten PA Lynne (Felicity Montagu). For both side-splitting humour and the detailed observation of all-too-believable human folly, this is highly recommended. Two tapes - ‘A Room With An Alan’ and ‘Basic Alan’ - 3 episodes per tape.
