Kath and Kim (TV Series)

Aroview: Fair-dinkum Ocker ‘suburban satire' developed and superbly performed by its two female stars who play a mum-and-daughter who drive each other “mental” but are great mates most of the time.

Full of endearingly bad taste humour, recognizably crass décor, shocking accents, and contagious catch-phrases, this is a timely, almost-subtle send-up of ‘reality TV’-style domesticity with occasional dollops of wild exaggeration. A huge cult hit in the Antipodes.

First, second and third series each contain eight episodes.
