X-Files, The - Season 5 (TV Series)
Aroview: Series 5 continues along the lines of Series 4, and is dominated by Mulder's series-long sustained belief that there are, actually, no aliens, and that everything has been a fraud.
Along the way, there's more digression than usual, a couple of silly ones (The Post-Modern Prometheus, and the excellent Bad Blood with Luke Wilson) one led by the Lone Gunmen (Unusual Suspects), one set in the 1950s (Travellers), the return of Pusher (Kitsunegari), a pretty interesting one written by William Gibson (Kill Switch), and a nice big tie-up ending with The End, which leads tidily into the X-Files Movie.
