Man From Elysian Fields, The
Aroview: The suave Andy Garcia plays a writer between books who is enticed into a well-paying gigolo operation by Mephistophelian entrepreneur Mick Jagger.
Not unthoughtful in its treatment of Garcia’s subsequent infidelity to wife Marguiles and other moral snags, but ultimately lacking a follow-through to the gritty premise. Despite fudging the issues, this well crafted drama is quite watchable for its cast alone.

3 stars (Good Enough) If there was a lead performer with a bit more life this would have helped the screenplay. However, there is talent in the three female performers led by Olivia Williams, and Jagger and Coburn could never be boring. ~Tubbs
