Comedian
Aroview: A thoroughly absorbing insight into the profession of stand-up comedy that contrasts the careers of former king-of-comedy Jerry Seinfeld with the blindly ambitious unknown, Orny Adams.
After enjoying success at the top of the sitcom ladder in the 1990s, Seinfeld is the easy-going pro who has only himself to prove that he still has what it takes to make it on the cut-throat Stand-Up circuit, while Adams is a cocky, immature and insecure rookie whose desperation to prove himself (and expose himself) gives the documentary an unexpected and memorable edge.
Words of wisdom are offered up along the celebrity trail from the likes of Jay Leno, Colin Quinn, Ray Romano, Chris Rock, Garry Shandling, and Bill Cosby.
