All the Real Girls
Aroview: Wistful, nuanced tale set in a tiny North Carolina town, where the town stud must prove himself in a romance with his best friend's sister.
Flavouring this earnest love-story with an accomplished visual lyricism, the dir. of the acclaimed GEORGE WASHINGTON again displays an eye for the potential absurdities of teenage emotion and the dilapidated beauty of backroads America. A fresh cast also prove a boost for the over-familiar material.

2 stars (Good Try) Better than most yuppies looking to fill in the day feeling sorry for themselves films. ~Tubbs
