Aroview: Playing a troubled Australian actress, Sobieski arrives in Paris and befriends her elderly Chinese neighbour in this melancholy mood-piece.

Two lost souls, they slowly form an unusual co-dependent relationship, as she veers towards suicide, while he acts her servant to forestall a move to a rest-home. Evocatively shot, though the sparseness of the drama will not appeal to everyone.
