Goldeneye
Aroview: Brosnan cuts the mustard as the new 007, aided by shrewd modifications that thoroughly re-invigorate the franchise – playful, self-mocking wit, two Bond girls that perform as well as they pout, and action scenes that Ian Fleming could only dream of. Arguably, the best Bond yet made, with delightful supporting cast.

5 stars (Exceptional) One of the best Bond films ever, with historical twists, an increasingly dubious sci-fi plot involving satellites, plus a brilliant and very-Bond mixture of tongue-in-cheek humour and OTT action. ~Tom H
3 stars (Good Enough) Brosnan is one of the better Bonds & the script has its lighter moments which is one of the ingredients on which the franchise had built its success - for e.g. the Q & M segments. The quality support includes Joe Don Baker & Gottfried John. ~Tubbs
