Aroview: Memorable post-apocalyptic drama serial following a small group of survivors after 99.9% of Earth’s population has been wiped out by a deadly virus.

Explores the social and cultural impact of the apocalypse as the group struggle to adapt, rebuild communities and re-invent skills and technologies amid widespread lawlessness and disease.

Devised by Terry Nation (creator of “Blakes 7” and the Daleks from “Dr. Who”) at the height of the Cold War, this is dated by its production style, but upholds its power through realism, and is unique among sci-fi serials for having a female central protagonist.
