Aroview: Steamy French confection involves frustrated wife Ardant in hiring prostitute Beart to seduce her philandering husband (Depardieu), and bring her daily reports on his erotic predilections.

Although this bombed with the critics outside France, the premise is developed with a lack of recrimination and salacious curiousity that is certainly eye-catching.
