Anatomy of Hell
Aroview: A queasily explicit sex drama about a suicidal woman who challenges (and pays) a promiscuous gay man to participate in an uneasy nightly ritual of voyeurism and psychosexual 'therapy'.
Going beyond conventional notions of masochism, 'provocateuse' dir. Catherine Breillat essays the pessimistic notion of man's inherent contempt for women, using the female body as the anti-object-of-desire and leaving no anatomy (or psychobabble) to the imagination. Eventually a fuzzy purpose does emerge, but this is otherwise a fascinating train wreck with that XXX factor.

2 stars (Good Try) Two complete strangers who to meet over four nights. When a suicidal woman is helped by a gay man, she pays him to 'watch her' - revealing man's basic fear of women's bodies, sexuality, and natures. Rather graphic, ever so French! ~GenXGirl
