Aroview: Vin Diesel goes on the run as 'Riddick', the anti-hero of PITCH BLACK, in a far more elaborate space opera based around the evil ambitions of a galactic scourge - the Necromongers.

Without the imagination of the original, this plumps for a standard array of CGI-hordes, futuristic stylings and action romps, though the charismatic presence of Diesel is undiminished.

3 stars (Good Enough) Fun and over the top sci fi action follow-up to Pitch Black, this has more CGI and action sequences, but it's really the cool and gruff arrogance of Diesel that makes it. ~Tom H
