Aroview: A loud and slime-lacquered clash of the sci-fi titans, the enticing prospect of two classic bogeymen going monstrous head-to-head soon dissipates in what is in reality an acute case of sequelitis.

For completists only, it's visual and aural overkill from the hack perpetrator of such derivative sci-fi nightmares as "Mortal Kombat" and "Event Horizon", but cynics can take comfort that he has at least blessed the genre by killing two now-lame ducks with one stone.
