Around the Bend
Aroview: Unusually quirky weepie, in which several generations of men are brought together unexpectedly for an extended attempt to grapple with the patriarch's (Caine) legacy.
Walken plays the disgraced 'black sheep' of the family who leads the rest in fulfilling the conditions of Caine's will. This strangely involves the clan in going on a road-quest for significant Kentucky Fried Chicken outlets (true!) Finally biting off more earnest intentions than it can chew, this still has a handful of good performances to keep one interested.

5 stars (Exceptional) Eccentric great-grandpa Henry has an unusual last wish, which sees 3 generations of Lair men embark on a road trip they'll never forget. Heart-warming (but not in a cheesy way) hilarious, uplifting, but not without the need for a tissue or two. ~GenXGirl
