Aroview: Emerging from the lighter end of the Dogme 95 movement, this drama reunites a father and three children after the death of their mother in a car accident.

Interlocking its cracked characters and their haunted hearts with a deftness akin to Mike Leigh, this chamber-piece is perhaps predictable in its developments (confessions, recriminations, incest) and outcomes, yet has a gratifying interest in human emotion leavened with genuine wit. The title, a euphemism for the tragedies of life, gives some idea of the tone.
