Aroview: A modest spoof on the sword-and-sandal genre (see GLADIATOR or XENA), with three Celtic lasses kitting up for a wander through a welter of skewered cliches in Roman Britain.

Featuring the stars of the British TV sketch show 'Smack the Pony', there is a certain fun to be gained from the girl-power perspective, reinforced by the knowledge that most of the sets and costumes were culled from Ridley Scott's GLADIATOR. Although not up to the standard of Monty Python's version of the same ideas, this is still a highly watchable effort.

2 stars (Good Try) The fart jokes normally would condemn it to a single * but overall it is better than that. At least they didn't have humping dogs unless I missed them from having passed out from a lack of quality air. ~Tubbs
