Chance in a Million (TV Series) (1984-1986): The two leads are fine and are supported throughout the 3 series by a good range of British comedic performers.
Romancing the Stone (1985): A good old fashioned entertaining uncomplicated actioner.
Minecraft Movie, A (2025): Decent family fare.
Takin' Over the Asylum (TV Series) (1994): Some good political writing, enhanced by the casting and soundtrack.
Stuff, The (1985): The screenplay takes a refreshingly different angle.
Hands Over the City (Le mani sulla città) (1963): A solidly written drama for some very excitable characters. The location shooting is top notch.rn
Suffragette (2015): A shameful part of British history. The production values are outstanding.; DVD ~~$20~~ $15
Goodbye Julia (2023): The film's strength is in its political messages and in the fact that Sudan has not been the topic of many films recently released in the West.; DVD $29.95
Blues Brothers, The (1980): Two screenplays in one – a decent comedy actioner coupled with some excellent musical numbers. The soundtrack uses the "Peter Gunn" theme intelligently.
Little Manhattan (2005): We don't want kids watching this stuff.
