Universal Soldier (1992): There is a sprinkling of sci–fi in the pools of blood.
Reality Bites (1994): Being required to perform a romantic relationship with either Stiller or Hawke would be bad enough but with both should be beyond the call of duty.
Bloodshot (2020): An actioner using the cloak of sci–fi but still an actioner.
Pa Boys, The (2014): It has a good balance between location shooting, musical interludes, and pearls of wisdom.
Good Liar, The (2019): Whatever the shortcomings of the screenplay they are made up for by the performances of two thespians who are at the top of the tree with Jim Carter as a bonus.
Not Without My Daughter (1991): HIghly emotional at times and not an easy watch but if it helps the plight of women and children caught up in the circumstances portrayed then making the drama has been worthwhile.
Morning Glory (2010): Rachel McAdams gives a very energetic performance which makes up somewhat for the thin material.
C.R.A.Z.Y. (Crazy) (2004): Although the screenplay weakens slightly in its latter stages that is probably because what went before was quite strong. The soundtrack is a big plus.
Eagle vs Shark (2007): Quirky.
Saint Joan (1957): Stagey but the casting which includes Gielgud, Aylmer, Andrews, Miles et.al maintains the interest. A version of Widmark that may not have often been seen is a delight.
