Young and Prodigious T.S. Spivet, The (2013): Excellent production values and very easy on the eye photography. The story is entertaining and original but it would have helped if the young main character had have been alive.
Celia (2018): As a society, New Zealand has much to be ashamed of. Let us hope your message is heard and taken on board Celia.; DVD ~~$29.95~~ $15, $29.95
Eyes of My Mother, The (2016): I can't claim to have been able to follow all of the screenplay but to its credit, it is not a clone.; DVD $34.95
Waking the Dead (1998): The plot idea is fine but Billy Crudup is not convincing.
Last Flag Flying (2018): It is long and heavy on dialogue but there is Bryan Cranston and Laurence Fishburne to make the journey a bit easier.
JT Leroy (Jeremiah Terminator LeRoy) (2019): A very good female cast but the screenplay surprisingly was not involving.
Little Caesar (1930): The script is riddled through with tough gangster talk.
Nacho Libre (2006): It probably tries too hard to be funny.
Long Weekend (1977): It has a very good environmental message and a warning that whatever a man soweth so shall he reapeth.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018): Excellent animation with the city street scenes the standout. The animated alternative provides more energy and action than earlier productions.
