Stolen Kisses (Baisers Voles) (1968): The material is light but you don't feel you've wasted your time as the story keeps moving along and the main character is kind of likeable. The icing on the cake is the easy on the eye soft colours of the photography.
Missing Link (2019): The characters are a bit odd to look at but like "Coraline" its animation style adds a bit of freshness to the genre.
Duck Duck Goose (2018): These characters will not fail to entertain the family.
Looney Tunes - Back in Action (2003): An entertaining and clever mix of live and animated action.; VHS $19.95
Earth vs. the Flying Saucers (1956): It is deservedly well known for its special effects. The screenplay has elements that you can scoff at but it also has those that you can admire. It deserves to be seen and will outlast the lot of us.
Tiger Eyes (2012): Although the screenplay isn't great Willa Holland looks capable of working with better material.; DVD $24.95
Jayne Mansfield's Car (2012): I think what happened was that Billy Bob invited some actor friends around to his place and they were filmed chatting waiting until someone delivered the screenplay.
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (2009): The action is unending, the screenplay is original and witty.
Shrek (2001): The ogre and donkey are great characters and the script is genuinely funny.
Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013): It is okay but the only time it lights up is when Stanley Tucci has the matches which is probably not a good metaphor with the state our climate is in these days.
