James White (2015): It was very hard to empathise with the lead character – I really didn't care what happened to him.; DVD $29.95
Manglehorn (2014): Arthouse. The acting is fine but the story is one for the elderly viewer.
Match (2014): The acting is fine – particularly from Patrick Stewart who is a top actor – but the script is of variable quality and is not always interesting.
Believer, The (2000)
These Final Hours (2013): Young Angourie Rice does well but the adult acting is pretty ordinary – it might be the last day on earth but there is no reason to get hysterical about it.
Healing (2014): The birds and the location shooting are a winner – the story just needed to be shorter in the telling.
Bratz - The Movie (2007): Christ these girls (or dolls?) can talk – they never stop.
Tooth Fairy (2010): I don't think it could make up its mind as to what audience age group it wanted to appeal to and as a result overall it was uneven.
Turkey Shoot (1981): Aka "Escape 2000". Its extremely distasteful especially toward women.
Driftless Area, The (2015): I drifted off – it just didn't hold my attention which is surprising considering some of the cast involved.
