Sleep Tight (2011)
The plot – especially the ending – is unconvincing lacking credibility but this film is very watchable because of Luis Tosar's performance. He is able to change facial expressions on a whim depending on whether he is Jekyll or Hyde.
Love Nest (1952)
A modest plot but the dialogue is snappy so it doesn't drag at any stage.
Wrong Man, The (Lucky Number Slevin) (2006)
What a mess and what a waste of Lucy,Morgan,Ben and Stanley. Why couldn't it tell the story from A to Z? Too smart for its own good.
Cinderella Story, A (2004)
It helps that it doesn't take itself too seriously – the step sisters do well.
Being Flynn (2012)
The scenario is not too bad but De Niro is a bit over the top and his character soon gets tiresome. Not enough of Julianne or Lili.
Hot Shots! (1991-1993)
HOT SHOTS! PART DEUX: Silly but enjoyable – they do these spoofs very well.
Charlie Wilson's War (2007)
There is a doco."The True Story of Charlie Wilson’s War" (2008). I'm not a fan of dramatisations – this one has star power distractions & therefore you could question whether its aim is to tell an accurate story or entertain.
Misery (1990)
Nothing wrong with the casting or acting – has some suspenseful moments but it is stagey and the story gets a bit routine/ish toward the end.
Rambo 3 (1988)
Moronic.
Rambo 2 (1985)
Moronic.
