Let Me In (2010): The two young actors are fine – although the plot is a remake the script is a good one – but what is most effective are the vampire segments and they lift the film above the norm.
Ghost Ship (1952): Competent enough suspense story – well acted – no distracting frills.
One I Love, The (2014): Could be a remake as the plot idea is familiar but its not over long for the material.
Ant-Man (2015): As per usual the Marvel films have good special effects but there is little new in the plot formula.
Marmaduke (2010): Only Owen Wilson's voice appears & the animal performances contribute to pretty good family entertainment.
Max (2015): Well done to the dog handlers but the story (as portrayed ) is not the strongest.
Arahan (2004): Entertaining.; DVD $29.95
Alpha and Omega (2010): Solid family animation based on good characters.
Astonished Heart, The (1950): Top cast and script.
Voices, The (2014): A one joke premise which doesn't last the distance.
