Terminator: Genisys (2015)
Indistinguishable from the many other action movies disguised as Sci–fi. The make up department have done a good job on Arnie to take 30 years off him.
Tomorrowland (2015)
Too long for kids – it has some very good segments and ideas and the special effects are very good but the whole exercise would benefit by being shorter.
Bride Wars (2009)
A few too many "Oh My God" for my liking but Kate and Anne work well together – its all very pleasant.
Trainwreck (2015)
The hysterical performances don't assist in conveying any message the film may have had – the script is infantile at times.
Walk, The (2015)
An unnecessary dramatisation that some how manages to lack suspense. The prop makers did a good job with the towers.
Bellflower (2011)
Tries hard to be different including making the characters offbeat but the males just get tiresome. Plenty of yelling and swearing to enhance the excitement.
San Antonio (1945)
Gun fighting cowboys with suits on but other than that most of it is routine fodder – good photography though & S.Z. Sakall adds interest to the cast.
Paper Towns (2015)
As with "Fault in Our Stars" from the same author – easy to watch/read – & better than a number of coming of age stories.
Ben 10: Alien Swarm (2009)
Mirrors many of the adult action /sci fi offerings but without the violence.
Empire Of The Seas (How The Navy Forged The Modern World) (2010)
Well researched and easily understood portrayal.
