Beastmaster, The (1982)
A bit long for the quality on offer but everyone tries hard and its not dull for too long at a time. The make up department have been busy with some of the characters.
Baby Mama (2008)
It's good natured and the two leads provide enough vibrations to keep it interesting.
Sabotage (2014)
Not exactly in Pumping Iron shape and like some other old action stars – bloated. Don't think Arnie would be needing to do this for the money or to fill in time – could be for the enjoyment(?) Its a useful support cast.
Hobbit, The - Battle of Five Armies (2014)
Great special and noise effects and the make–up department has worked overtime.
Strangers, The (2008)
Another home invasion with the strident sound effects.
Ballad of Gregorio Cortez (1982)
A bit different to the normal.
Noble (2014)
A story well worth telling and it doesn't appear to have been over dramatised. The childhood scenes are quality as far as props and design are concerned. O'Kane you would want on your side every day of the week and has a lovely brogue.
Water for Elephants (2011)
Waltz gives a fine performance and is too strong for the other two – he in turn has to give centre stage to Rosie the elephant who is terrific. An uneven film but the scenes which involve Waltz or Rosie are worth it.
Show Me a Hero (TV Mini-Series) (2015)
On a first viewing couldn't get into it – will watch again.
Cymbeline (Anarchy) (2014)
The version I saw didn't have sub–titles and I found the plot of this not well known story a bit hard to concentrate on/understand.
