Spy Kids 2 - The Island of Lost Dreams (2002)
Its surprisingly good for a sequel – even for adults.
Ghosts Of Girlfriends Past (2009)
Don't know why they need to bastardize a classic story other than to make a cheap profit.
While You Were Sleeping (1995)
A bit of an old style situation comedy. The plot is watchable but the comedy would not have worked without the excellent casting of the older actors.
Cobbler, The (2014)
Nothing wrong with the plot idea nor with the support casting but as with most one joke films its hard for it to last the distance. Good production values.
Foxcatcher (2014)
Its good to see a drama about wrestling for a change – its a genuine sport. The wrestling training sequences are the best but the plot doesn't hold the attention over the distance.
He Walked By Night (1948)
A strong film noir and is appropriately atmospheric.
Electra Glide in Blue (1973)
Terrific locale. Robert BLAKE probably in his best role but there are some good performances from those in support. All the characters are interesting and the plot is simple but effectively told.
Cape Fear (1962)
Mitchum is very good and looks menacing & is ably supported by Martin Balsam and Telly Savalas. The film is a little too long and a shorter offering would have maintained the suspense better.
Adventureland (2009)
Achieves the basics of good comedy by getting the characters right with a script to match.
Three Musketeers, The (Mickey, Donald and Goofy) (2003)
These unfailingly popular characters are always great viewing.
