Love Guru, The Love Guru, The (2008)
2 stars (Good Try) No where near the standard of the Austin Powers films.
Harry and SonHarry and Son (1984)
2 stars (Good Try) The Son part of the title appears too much. Most interest is in a lean Morgan Freeman and a young Ellen Barkin. Weird that Newman is playing a widower and Joanne W is in the film.
HerculesHercules (1997)Recommended
3 stars (Good Enough) Some comical moments help the entertainment and the story telling.
Jump In!Jump In! (2007)
3 stars (Good Enough) he kids are all a bit too shiny etc. but I'm a sucker for watching Double Dutch.
AccidentAccident (1967)
4 stars (Very Good) Some idyllic scenes. We are privileged to witness a slice of life from the officer class. Bogarde has that ability of looking but not needing to talk. Vivien has a calming effect on proceedings. Nothing of importance happens but it doesn't really matter.
Sacrament, TheSacrament, The (2013)
2 stars (Good Try) Yet another hand held camera horror film. The scenario is familiar.
Bicycle DreamsBicycle Dreams (2009)
3 stars (Good Enough) Awesome – it would be as tough as biking around Wellington.
Blake's 7 (TV Series) - Series 1Blake's 7 (TV Series) - Series 1 (1978)Recommended
3 stars (Good Enough) It does extremely well to maintain a consistent standard over all episodes. The sets and effects add to the charm.
Ghosts of the AbyssGhosts of the Abyss (2003)
3 stars (Good Enough) 58 minute version seen. Thanks to Mr Cameron's millions we are privileged to see something that could well be unseeable.
Lethal Weapon 2Lethal Weapon 2 (1989)
2 stars (Good Try) Stands up well alongside others in this action comedy sub–genre. Danny Glover looks comfortable in the role and he is the highlight for me.
