Love Guru, The (2008)
No where near the standard of the Austin Powers films.
Harry and Son (1984)
The Son part of the title appears too much. Most interest is in a lean Morgan Freeman and a young Ellen Barkin. Weird that Newman is playing a widower and Joanne W is in the film.
Hercules (1997)
Some comical moments help the entertainment and the story telling.
Jump In! (2007)
he kids are all a bit too shiny etc. but I'm a sucker for watching Double Dutch.
Accident (1967)
Some idyllic scenes. We are privileged to witness a slice of life from the officer class. Bogarde has that ability of looking but not needing to talk. Vivien has a calming effect on proceedings. Nothing of importance happens but it doesn't really matter.
Sacrament, The (2013)
Yet another hand held camera horror film. The scenario is familiar.
Bicycle Dreams (2009)
Awesome – it would be as tough as biking around Wellington.
Blake's 7 (TV Series) - Series 1 (1978)
It does extremely well to maintain a consistent standard over all episodes. The sets and effects add to the charm.
Ghosts of the Abyss (2003)
58 minute version seen. Thanks to Mr Cameron's millions we are privileged to see something that could well be unseeable.
Lethal Weapon 2 (1989)
Stands up well alongside others in this action comedy sub–genre. Danny Glover looks comfortable in the role and he is the highlight for me.
