Run Lola Run (1998): The difference in the format of the screenplay from the norm is impressive.
Delicacy (2011): Not just another French romantic comedy but another French romantic comedy with Audrey in it.
Youth Without Youth (2007): The screenplay perhaps tries a bit too hard in whatever it is trying to achieve and ends up being untidy. However, to its credit, it doesn't follow any well trodden path.
Gunpowder Milkshake (2021): Appropriate for our times – a comedy about killing with a child thrown into the mix.
Sid and Nancy (1986): The antics get a bit repetitive, the musical segments are for the initiated only but for the rest of us there are great performances from Sid and Nancy to admire.
Last Picture Show, The (1971): The characters are believable and well cast. A slice of time in small town USA.
Bloodsport (1987): Some of the action sequences are okay, some are comical and some border on the distasteful.
Harder They Fall, The (1956): The well written screenplay you suspect will continue to age well and it stands up well in comparison to others based on the boxing industry.
Last Duel, The (2021): Aka "The Clash of the Tin Cans".rnIt has a lightweight cast and the screenplay is not worth the 2 and a half hours.
In The Heights (2021): The musical segments are worthwhile and are full of energy.
