Carnal Knowledge (1971): A talkie where nothing of value happens. It doesn't gell that someone that looks like Nicholson's character with a smile like a leech could be attractive.
Teacher's Pet (2004): Pretty solid family entertainment – interesting animation.
Tron (1982): Is still watchable over 30 yrs later – and deservedly so.
Ladies On the Rocks (1984): It works well for the most part in a bitter sweet kind of way but it goes on for a shade too long.
Amsterdamned (1988): Has some great touches and wonderful shots of the canals.Climaxed by a well enacted speedboat chase.
Batman Begins (2005): It oozes acting talent (deliberately so – see Making Of) but its not a film requiring great acting.The only real highlights are the depiction of Gotham City.
Love Punch (2013): Emma Thompson & Timothy Spall deserve and usually have better material than this.
Gauntlet, The (1977): Usual actioner, including biker gangs, with Eastwood and Locke. The ending is an insult to the intelligence.
Don't Say a Word (2001): Useful cast which includes Brittany Murphy but the story telling is not helped by flashy flashbacks.Noisy background score to aid the drama.
Man With Two Brains, The (1983): Uneven but there are some good bits.A story line with a difference.
