Trial by Jury (1994): The acting is fine but the plot is uninspiring.
To Catch a Thief (1954): Starts off very well but it deteriorates bit by bit when the romance takes over.
Hatari (1962): Although its too long and the characters and script are dated there is interest in the wildlife and the score.
God's Pocket (2014): More than useful cast – the plot has some unexpected black comedy touches – the characters are interesting and its not too long.
Riot Club, The (2014): Even when behaving like pigs its hard to make well healed characters interesting.; DVD $29.95 | Blu-Ray $34.95
Monsters University (2013): Some really good creatures and easy on the eye animation.
Interstellar (2014): Over ambitious.Better to have made a film about the dust storm country and another about space.Editing at times abrupt. "Won't be home for dinner off into space" scenario stretched credibility as did the weeping. The sci–fi & visuals were commendable.
Breakfast Club, The (1985): Has a couple of good scenes but at the end of the day the characters aren't interesting enough – watch "Kids" instead for another version of an American teen.; DVD ~~$20~~ $15
Planes, Trains and Automobiles (1987): Not John Candy's best but he's always worth the time.
Pretty in Pink (1986): Routine plot but Molly Ringwald gives a convincing performance.
