Sons of Katie Elder, The (1965): Most interest is in the solid casting of the supporting characters including a wimpy Dennis Hopper.
Son of No One, The (2011): Has a little something that distinguishes it from the many similar films – its low key and its characters have some depth.
Major League (1989): Uninteresting – nothing to distinguish it from the other baseball movies.
Herbie Rides Again (1974): Delightful as a comedy.
Camp Rock (2008): Very routine plot – the music is very bland.
Driver, The (1978): Bruce Dern plays Bruce Dern and in doing so lifts this film a notch. Impressive stunt driving.
Equalizer, The (2014): Denzel is very good as usual but is untested as usual – he's played this part a thousand times.
Truman Show, The (1998): A very good concept and the set designs/props of the suburban housing very good.
Iron Will (1994): The kid's a bit annoying but a fine cast in support – Stiers,Spacey and Cox. The locations are a winner.
Maleficent (2014): The set designs, creatures and the visual effects are impressive.Acting honors go to the pixies.
